Choose an open Polymarket outcome, such as the Yes side of “Will X happen?”, then name your coin and launch it. Launching is free apart from Robinhood Chain gas, and you can make the first buy yourself.
Creators earn 0.7% of every trade, forever.
02
Trade the odds
Every coin trades against a pToken: a 1:1 claim on a real outcome share Polypad holds on Polymarket. So its price moves with buying and selling and with the live odds. Coins start on a bonding curve at about $2.4k market cap.
1% per trade: 70% to the creator, 30% to Polypad.
03
Graduate, then resolve
At about $6k raised the curve sells out and the coin moves into a Uniswap v4 pool in the same transaction, liquidity locked. Sells always work; buys pause from the market’s end date until it resolves. If the outcome wins its pToken is worth $1 and trading carries on both ways. If it loses, the backing is worth $0 and only sells remain.
Pay and receive USDG, with a 0.25% conversion spread.
Put a coin on your conviction
Launching takes one transaction and costs only gas. The curve, the graduation into Uniswap v4 and the fee split are set up for you, and the coin follows the market, whichever way it breaks.
What every trade costs, where the fees go, and how creators and holders earn.
A trade has two parts, and each has a fee:
The market part. Your USDG becomes shares of the outcome (a buy), or shares become USDG (a sale), at the Polypad exchange. This costs the exchange spread.
The coin part. The shares buy or sell the coin, on its curve or in its pool. This costs the coin’s trading fee, shared between the creator side and Polypad.
Trades on the site, and through the Router from any app, do both in one transaction.
The spread is the exchange’s margin over the live Polymarket price. It pays for holding the real shares behind every coin and for moving dollars between Robinhood Chain and Polymarket. On markets where Polymarket charges its own taker fee, that fee is added to the quote, so you see one all-in price.
The creator side of every fee goes to the FeeVault contract, paid in the outcome’s shares (and, for sales in a pool, partly in the coin itself).
The creator’s part can be claimed at any time, as shares or converted to USDG in the same transaction. Claiming from the site is coming soon; until then it is one call through the API or the FeeVault contract.
At launch the creator chooses what part of the creator side, from 0% to 100%, goes to the coin’s holders instead. It is permanent.
Everyone holding the coin earns, wherever they bought it: on Polypad, in another app, or in the pool directly. The vault follows balances, not venues.
Rewards accrue in proportion to your balance and how long you hold it.
They are paid out automatically every hour once you are owed $1 or more, and you can claim sooner at any time.
They are paid in the outcome’s shares, not dollars: worth the outcome’s price, $1 each if it happens and $0 if it does not. You can cash your rewards out to USDG when you claim them; nobody else can sell them for you.
The holders’ part of fees paid in the coin itself is burned, which every holder shares.
The curve, the pool and the burn address never earn rewards.
Each coin keeps the fees it launched with for its whole life, on the curve and in its pool. Polypad can change the fees for future launches only, and only within limits written into the contracts:
Polypad’s half of each coin fee, and the spread, are paid into the exchange’s float: the pool of dollars that pays sellers. Part of every trade therefore makes the float bigger, permanently, which is what lets every holder sell at once. Polypad takes its revenue out only from what the float and the desk hold above what holders could claim.
The numbers on this page are read live from Polypad’s API. For any coin, GET /v1/coins/<address> returns its own fee schedule, and GET /v1/fees the schedule new launches get. See Contracts and API.
